Women’s Wellness Reset: Cortisol, Stress Hormones, and Energy
If you feel tired-but-wired, struggle with sleep, experience energy crashes, cravings, anxiety, or feel like your body is more reactive than it used to be—this session is for you. Cortisol is one of the body’s main stress hormones, and when stress becomes chronic (busy schedules, under-fueling, intense training, poor sleep, emotional load), it can impact energy, metabolism, mood, and hormone balance—especially during perimenopause.
This 90-minute Women’s Wellness Reset is an educational, supportive workshop designed to help you understand stress physiology in a clear, non-overwhelming way, and walk away with practical tools you can start using the same day.
In this session, you'll learn:
What cortisol is and how the daily cortisol rhythm works
Common signs of dysregulated stress response (sleep issues, crashes, cravings, belly weight changes, irritability, low motivation)
How blood sugar swings, caffeine timing, under-eating, and overtraining can amplify symptoms
Nutrition foundations that support steadier energy and recovery
Simple nervous system regulation tools (breath + downshifting practices) you can use at home
You’ll leave with:
A “Cortisol-Smart” daily checklist (sleep, light, movement, meals)
A simple plate + snack guide for blood sugar stability
2–3 regulation practices to start immediately
A 7-day reset plan to help you test what works for your body
Format: education + guided practice + Q&A
Who it’s for: women in high-stress seasons, active professionals, and anyone navigating perimenopause and wanting more energy and resilience
What to bring: water, a notebook, and comfortable clothing (gentle practices are optional)
Facilitator: Meli Kirkwood
Certified Nutrition Specialist CNS + integrative health + performance nutrition practitioner
